The location was fantastic, just a 10-15 minute walk from Cliffe High Street. We truly appreciated being close to a train station. the room was a decent size and brand new, featuring a comfortable bed.

Its really affordable especially for budget travellers like my parents and myself. Would recommend it to people who are pretty ok with basic amenities. Its location is also quite good as it was like 5 minutes walk to the nearest JR station.
The hotel needs a little bit of renovation if it wants to attract more customers. Looks a little bit run-down. Could have more maps and tourist information available at the counter. Wifi problem at the 5th level

The pictures on the internet and the room did not match. The room was much more outdated then the way the photos made it look. The Wi Fi internet was also only working properly in the lobby area. Then I was asked to go to the common room area because they did not want people to sit in the lobby area for long periods of time. The common room area is also the smoking lounge so if you are not a smoker it is not so great. Also there really was only once in a while where there was anybody that can help you in English.

The rooms were spacious compared to the other hotels we stayed in Tokyo.
The toilet and room were a bit old. The heater which doubles up as aircon was not working, so the night was a bit cold.

I could say... nothing liked us - very realistic.
Best Hotel is, actually, a brothel - is always full of girls with their clients. Japanese rooms are miserable, no conditions at all, a bad smell. The other rooms, the normal ones, are quite acceptable.

It is at Korean area. Only 6mins walking distance from JR Shin-Okubo St (1stop away from JR Shinjuku). Lots of restaurants around that area. At first, when I noticed ladies standing around the street at night, I kinda knew it was on a "entertainment" district. But I felt no harm living on this street. The street is quiet & no fear of drunkards wondering around. My frens & I stayed in a twin & triple room. Not as spacious as a 4* hotel but my frens said that the triple room was big enough for them. Internet was no problem living on the 3rd floor as there was router on each floor. We were greeted by the receptionist everytime we walked into the hotel. Might have a problem with communication but they do try their best to relay the mesg.
Too bad the reversal remote control was in japanese. Maybe the hotel can stick english words on the control for easy understanding.

I was a girl travelling alone and this is maybe not the nicest area to stay at. The area has a lot of 'love hotels' and this hotel is also one...The only thing I liked about it hotel was that it was located close to a JR station which brings you to all the nice places in Tokyo.
Not a nice area, nothing nice to see or do. The walk from the JR station to the hotel didn't feel very save at night.
